Governing Nordic ESG

Advancing Sustainable Finance in the Nordic Region

The Governing Nordic ESG initiative explores how ESG regulations and policies shape financial markets and corporate governance across the Nordic region. With a distinct focus on regulatory frameworks, ethical business practices, and governance transparency, projects under Governing Nordic ESG assess the role of policy-driven sustainability in fostering accountability, mitigating risks, and ensuring long-term economic stability.

At the Nordic ESG Lab, we examine how Nordic governments, regulators, and businesses integrate governance-focused ESG principles into decision-making. Through interdisciplinary research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement, we evaluate the effectiveness of ESG regulations in driving corporate responsibility and sustainable economic growth.
