Free Open Online Course for CBS students on EUDR

CBS actively collaborates within the EMMA4EU consortium, comprising 11 partners globally. Our primary role includes contributing to the development of training modules, supporting project dissemination activities including awareness workshop and evaluating both the process and the overall project outcomes.  By diligently analyzing data from partners, we provide essential feedback to ensure project alignment with its plan and schedule. Together with consortium partners, we contribute to the development of a robust research and assessment framework, drawing on scientific literature on impact assessment and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions, including metrics and biodiversity-related financial risks in Deforestation-Free Supply Chains (DFSCs), and supporting related joint analyses and publications.

EMMA4EU partner university Wageningen University & Research,  has created a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to support students and professionals from all over the world in driving real change toward a more transparent, responsible, and sustainable global trade system.

This course equips you with the knowledge and practical tools to navigate the challenges of implementing the European Regulation on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR) and achieving deforestation-free supply chains. Through real-world examples and interactive learning, you will learn how businesses can align sustainability commitments with compliance requirements.

Officially enrolled students from an EMMA4EU university partner institutions (University of Padova, Wageningen University, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Copenhagen Business School, Makerere University) could access the MOOC’s verified track for free. Please enroll in the MOOC using your institutional email address, and email info@emma4eu.eu to indicate your university, the email you used to enroll, and your request to activate the verified track.
